Research on Sustainable Mining and Water Prevention in Large Open-Pit Water Deposits

Due to the impacts on ecological environment, production safety and economic benefits of large open-pit water deposits, there is no longer a single drainage method within pit that can be used meet need for further deep mining. Therefore, curtain grouting technology proposed use in prevention control mine water. The flow equation slurry vertical fissures under influence self-weight stress was derived, three-dimensional visualized laminated jointed rock model developed independently study transport mechanism, diffusion pattern, sealing which verified correctness equation. Field trials industrial were also carried out at mines, effectiveness blockage tested using visual analysis, inspection hole detection, geophysical exploration methods. results showed after curtain, water-conducting cracks formation filled well sealed, has good water-blocking effect. A complete set diversified value-taking systems obtained, ensure development green, safe sustainable future.
